Common questions before the first call
Do you publish prices?
No. Every engagement is quoted in writing after a free 30-minute call, as a fixed figure for your scope. The fee depends on transaction volume, entity count, and how much clean-up the books need, so a number printed before anyone has seen them would be either padded or wrong.
Which level of service do I need?
Accounting services cover clean books with monthly reports and tax preparation. Controller services add a structured month-end close, budget-versus-actual reporting and the KPIs that describe your business. CFO advisory is for owners deciding on hiring, pricing or financing who want forecasting behind the decision. The first call sorts this out, including if the honest answer is that you do not need us yet.
Do I need to be near Wilmette?
No. The practice is in Wilmette, Illinois, and meets North Shore clients in person when that helps, but the work runs remotely through connected bank feeds and shared software, with scheduled video reviews. Clients in other states get the same monthly rhythm.
Who does the work?
Chaudhry Ahmad, the founder, is the person you deal with. He brings controller-level experience to every engagement, so the bookkeeping is done with the reporting in mind and the reports are built for the decisions you are making.
